Although Outlook is a well-developed product and nicely integrated with Microsoft Office®, the fields in Outlook are too limited to serve as a Client Relationship Management (a CRM system) for a financial advisor.
Besides demographic information, good financial advising requires the advisor to document the client’s life circumstances. For example, does the client have credit card debt?
