The ProTracker RMD Calculator Assistant is embedded in ProTracker Advantage. This approach provides opportunities for the firm's portfolio administrator, client service associate, or financial planner to enter notes and tasks related to RMD activities. Client RMD withdrawals may be entered to track each client's remaining "RMD To Go" status before the end of the year.
A significant benefit of the RMD Calculator is that client account information only needs to be set up in the first year. After the first year, the accounts set up in prior years persist. The RMD Wizard only needs the 12/31 account values to proceed. New client accounts may be added at any time. After adding a new client account, just re-run the RMD Wizard to update the master list of RMD accounts.
