ProTracker Advantage® is our flagship product and has been used by thousands of investment advisors and financial planners over the years.
ProTracker Software was founded in 1997 by Warren Mackensen, a nuclear engineer and financial planner. After graduating from the U. S. Naval Academy, Warren served on a nuclear submarine at sea for his military commitment. Later, he was the Pre-Operational Test Supervisor at a 1,200 megawatt commercial nuclear power station where he wrote, reviewed and executed many complex test procedures. These engineering skills and human factors were applied to the creation of ProTracker Advantage, and the RMD Calculator Assistant in particular.
The RMD Calculator Assistant was first embedded in ProTracker Advantage in 2004, which eliminated the tedious use of spreadsheets to manually calculate RMDs for Warren’s financial planning and investment management clients. Today, ProTracker customers across the nation compute tens of thousands of RMDs each year in seconds.
